About E.J. Whitten Foundation

The objectives of the E. J. Whitten Foundation are:

Increase awareness of prostate cancer:
We aim to raise awareness of prostate cancer, through our numerous campaigns and events. An increase of awareness will hopefully result in regular testing and early detection.

Promote Early Detection:
As there are no symptoms in the early stages of prostate cancer, we strongly believe it is vital for a man to begin regular testing for the disease at the age of 50, or from the age of 40 if there is a family history of prostate cancer.

Raise Funds for research in to the Disease:
The Foundation hosts a variety of events each year, both in Victoria and interstate. At every event, funds are raised for research in to the disease.
